| A / D converter which is useful?

Hello,
I'm looking for the digitization of a composite source is a useful A / D converter. Whether Firewire or USB is here no preference, only the price is hot. And is up to me at the bottom (lowest) price range. Certainly one or the other will say that one can expect there is no real quality and I give the right, but it will certainly be synonymous in the lower price to one or another A / D converter can be found that is reasonably usable.
My price expectations go up to 150, - Euro and so I first came on the Terratec Cameo 400, or maybe the Plextor ConvertX PX-M402U, because I want to have anyway Mpeg2 for DVD, or even Adaptec's VideOh! Multimedia Center USB? You see, I do not know what I want and that it is not at all easy.
What can you recommend or is there no other alternatives? As I said, my budget is completely rare and 150 euro is really an absolute pain threshold. Order of criteria in addition to the price in order:
Image quality, data size, processing, software.

Only again, thanks for the info. There is another problem: the whole is a credit slip s.der University. The DVDs are to be captured only be obtained by consulting the library via interlibrary loan to and therefore I do not know of how long I will have access to it, but probably far too short. My idea to capture the DVDs in order to deal in peace and in order to insert parts comes across as a presentation this ZIP problem: Macrovision. Why? As far as I am informed, is a copy of any content is still legally in order, so long as this is done for private purposes. It then goes so far that we may have up to 7 copies. The whole is more of a judicial discretion: If 1 / 2 GB of classical music has at home is hardly likely to drop below it. But anyone who has multiple hard disks full of music from file sharing, certainly comes into provide explanations in relation to private use. The new copyright law provides for the reinforcement only, otherwise files from file-sharing as a private copies could be transferred to the legality, if I understand correctly ...
I mean, I will indeed be produced only for private purposes, a copy of DVDs that I borrow from a library. I hardly think that any would be interested. In court, what it's always synonymous to the severity and even if I verstßen against something (where cih am of the opinion that I do not do it) would be like in my case probably only slightly and would be wingestellt ...

Did I read correctly? You want to record DVDs (or excerpts thereof) on your computer? Simply slide into the DVD drive and copy them with a burning program of your choice. If a copy is available (circumvention is illegal, no preference, and why what you copy), will be your burning software refuse to work. For your budget you can buy a DVD Burners and many spindles blanks.

So I wanted to intervention synonymous A / D converter of Canopus.
I did not want to spend too much money (175 euros pain threshold), and have therefore taken the Canopus ADVC55 targeted. Is the quality good, synonymous with jitter, picture dropouts etc? Or it is worth if I buy a DVD recorder?

So I've decided to buy a recorder and to have the views of Panasonic DMR-EH80VEGS. I take s.The quality is very gug (synonymous if he only MPEG-2 ausgiebt). Against jitter only a TBC and glitches are glitches help. That would be rather a matter for the recorder reproduces quickly as possible recover the track to keep the dropouts as short as possible.
