Hello,
After long reading and studying in this very informative forum
I will in the next few days, the Panasonic NV-GS 280 EC growth.
Nevertheless, I have some questions for which you do
maybe you can help.
I would like to know whether the tele-converter for this cam really
is usable, and whether the image quality suffer much?
Perhaps someone has their own experiences with this?
Also I like to know whether this program attached to transfer
to the PC via USB, first last, or whether it is the quality of the
copied material, it is important to transfer via firewire?
When I first data on the disk had, I do this
with various other programs. It is just about the movie
on the plate to get. :-)
Perhaps I should say this is my first video - Camera, so
I hope that I have expressed understandable * gg *

With the included software can be used in best quality via a USB / FW dub, and even allows a "lightweight" DV editing.
First review whether the 10x optical zoom you not enough, the majority of the GS 280 filmmakers are satisfied. And a Tele converter 2x - makes the GS 280 Aperture 1.8 times and 3.6 quickly covers minor weaknesses of the lens to even faster (rangeholt).
Better would be more of a wide-angle converter because the GS 280 with her about 45 or 46 mm (in KB) is not just a lot draufbekommt - zb 0.7 x.
