Question of Axel_HF100:
Januar 2009

Hello community forums,

since a few days, I am the owner of a Canon HF-100.
I have seen many posts on the Internet read, but a few questions I was not quite understandable.
Basically I would like the films of the highest quality recording and archiving. Output (multiple clips on a DVD), at the moment via his DVD player.

Camera:
1. Camera Setup: FXP quality, frame rate: 50i
Is this OK?

DVD-create:
2. Via Image Mixer 3 SE can I get the movies via USB to the PC bring. Burner is only with DVD-R media. (According to software vendors). What is your experience? Is it possible to bypass and use DVD + R?

3. Roxio MyDVD 9: Converted movies via AVCHD2HQ to MPG or Avi can not be opened for editing "and therefore no DVD creation possible. What is that?

4. Windows Movie Maker: Seems to be working when I via AVCHD2HQ create a MPG file and the created of the type in m2t mpg conversion. If the software is worth closer to employ?

5. Trial version of Edius Neo: Seems to be working.
Do I pay this scope?

In short: How do I get s.einfachsten multiple AVCHD clips on DVD?

Thank you for your help,
Axel

You should look at an urgent right software to edit your videos growth. Use this search in the forum. This unspeakable Image Mixer is slow, unreliable and bedienungsunfreundlich.

There are a lot more software. Each user has his preferences, each software has its advantages and disadvantages. Of all the products are fully functional demo version - just try and buy all the ones you like s.besten.

On the subject of Windows Movie Maker: This program extends to perhaps a few times briefly zusammenzuschneiden videos for beginners or for the trial & error. But there are just a few pre-made effects, which already has seen at any time, otherwise not many options.
In addition, the program is very unstable, if one works with many video clips (at least for me back then when the XP version).

I would perhaps point s.deiner Adobe Premiere (Elements) try one of the leading programs in the area - the element version is aimed specifically s.Einsteiger.
But for the first try but it was only a little time with Movie Maker, then the entry into more complex programs later synonymous easier.

Reply TiMovie:

dvds on - use DVD-R - are covered for the DVD player compatibility better!

Reply Axel_HF100:

Hello again,

I have decided for Edius Neo. This software runs on my laptop very well and the handling is quite synonymous OK.

Gruß,
Axel
