Hi,
hopefully I can help someone of you.
I bought the birth of my first daughter a sony camcorder DCR-HC45E. some s.Material filmed and transferred s.damaligen PC.
my Letzig Latpop (Compaq) has but no i.link / Firewire port and slot also nothing.
I only have a SD - MS / Pro - MMC + - XD slot
there is still a possibility to transfer the movies on this laptop?

Then attention is paid just before the purchase. Either you can transfer the movies via USB 2.0, or you need another camcorder that has USB 2.0. Maybe you have but synonymous nor a slot into which you can insert a PCMCIA card? Then you could buy yourself a Firewire card.

If Windows XP then Windows Movie Maker or WinDV, which are not installed must be running (unzip & last).
