Meine geplante HD-Systemumgebung - Meinungen dazu?

My HD-planned system environment - Opinions on this?

Question of kowi:
Februar 2009

Hello s.die round. In early April, I would like my new HD system environment realized. It should be a pure PC for HDV are currently with Studio 12 Ultimate. The system should be open but for a higher NLE is synonymous and for the next 5 years for newer software developments (eg Win7 ...) to fit. Since I am not a hardware specialist, I'm happy for you your opinion on the components you selected. Here my idea:

CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 - 4x 2.833 GHz Intel Core 2 or Core i7-920 - 4x 2.66 GHz
Scythians Mugen CPU Cooler COOLER QUAD CORE READY or Noctua NH-U12P SE1366
Mainboard Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 Socket 775 or ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 Socket 1366
Memory 2x OCZ Gold CL5 Sim DDR2 PC-800 2048 MB or Corsair DIMM 4 GB DDR3-1600 kit (2x2GB)

Harddisks 3x Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB (Caviar Blue)
graphics card Gainward GF9800 GT 512 MB retail
BR burner LG GGW-H20L SATA black Retail BlueRay
BR ROM LiteOn DH-4O1S (Bulk, Aperture in Black)

Power Supply 525W Enermax MODU82 +
Case Cooler Master Centurion 5 (Black)
Insulation insulation mats be quiet Midi

Optical Mouse Logitech MX400 Laser
Keyboard Microsoft Digital Media Keyboard 3000 (Black)
Monitor 2x BenQ E2400HD Full HD 1920x1080 black 24 "or 2x LG Flatron W2442PA-SF 1920x1080 silver / black 24"

Operating system MS Windows XP Home SP3 DSP

HDTV SonyKDL 40W4500, Full HD 1920x1080, 100 Hz or Philips 42 PFL 7603, Full HD 1920x1080, 100 Hz
BR-S350 player SonyBDP E or LG BD-300 or Panasonic BD 35

Makes sense variant Intel i7 (extra cost about 200, - ¬? Would you cut the square prefer 2x 22 "instead of 24" suggest?

For your contributions in advance many thanks.

Let's pretend that,

5 years fit? hm .. this is very difficult in my opinion ... Average components are in fact after 3 years completely overhauled.

If you are planning so many worthwhile in any case an i7 system because it
s.dafür hire in 2 or 3 years or a new CPU is to aufrüseten (Socket 775 is useful for the new set comes Q3/Q4 of this year's replacement) and
b) more memory installed on it can be.
I7 If you do not want to over clock the Q9550 but probably up to date to stay ahead.

I would Mainboardmäßig from ongoing bad experiences with Asus to Gigabyte advise.

Memory .. 4GB if you are OK at the moment with XP 32Bit stay. You must have synonymous to an i7 system not 3 so that the bolt used in the triple channel mode. 2 do it without it really is noticeably slower! This is bit of a misconception which is has spread. There are several tests in the literature which is synonymous with good 2 or 4 bars instead of 3 / 6 leaves.

The other components in order to monitor on the first glance OK. But you really want a TN panel pick? Also the 16:9 in my opinion, is silly. You'll appreciate it if the monitor is 16:10, and you slightly vertical Resolutiongewinnst. My Proposal would be with a MVAPVA MVAOn the subject of 22 "/ 24" monitor is really only to say the same number of pixels on 5cm refused Diagonale is bruised. If you have little space s.deinem Cut Square is the certainly one alternative, but otherwise, I would always prefer the larger screen. It is comparable with 17 "/ 19" to 19 "of ergonomic devices are simply because the writing is not so tiny.

I hope this has you a little help next.

At the MIC's comments is really nothing to add except maybe as a Vista 64 OS to be a friend!

Thanks for the replies.
Well, my current system has synonymous has nearly 6 years old, and if I had not converted to HD would certainly be even longer shown his good offices. So, I need not always be synonymous with the latest!

If I have a 16:10 monitor suppose, then surely I (small) black bars when playing my videos on your PC, right? MVA / PVA panels are somewhat more expensive than my planned TN's. Yes I need 2 pieces.

That with the 24 "has me convinced!

A Vista, I sure do not. If, then next year do I switch on Win7 SP1 / 2!?

Reply MHK:

ok, something about the monitors to your questions:
- Yes, you will be above and below have little black bars at 16:10
- Yes MVA / PVA are more expensive, but TN panels have really a worse picture than MVA / PVA panels. That is the main reason why synonymous MVA / PVA is more expensive. Something like one sees but due to the unrealistic illumination in a media market is worse than at home ...

Compromise proposal s.dieser place: you order a TN and a MVA / PVA panel, make it at home side by side, and decide for yourself. Then send a back and order you a second of what you meet.

Anything else on the 16:9 / 16:10 ... You've synonymous of a TV writing. I thought you want to be with s.den Calculator dranhängen. A normal graphics card only supports 2 monitors, but for 50 ¬ get a decent second graphics card you have two monitors dranhängen can. You should just not a card of ATI of NVIDIA & a, because the driver problems, but two from the same manufacturer are quite good! Especially since every heilwegs good mainboard PCIe16x today at least 2 slots for graphics cards has.

Then you had your great television as a preview device without black bars. And, two 24 "monitors with the Pros s.Vertikaler resolution.

Have an Intel Quad 9550 with 4GB memory on Windows XP. Just wanted to test how AVCHD runs. As far as I can judge it runs quite well, p.3 jerky effects it a little but is still easy to edit.

All I have with Sony Vegas and Canopus Edius tested. Chill Vegas is better.

Your system is exactly right when you consider the AVCHD here in the forum as a quasi "worst case" scenario is cut.

In my opinion, the variant I7 and the surcharge does not make sense.

For motherboards, I close one of my previous speakers. Take a Gigabyte, Asus has had 3x and always problems with it. The DDR2 800 memory is sufficient, provided that you do not want to over clock. DDR3 is, in my opinion, only more expensive!

Depending on how hard you want to operate (single, RAID0, RAID1, RAID5), there are different recommendations. If one then the Western Digital Raptor, which is good but expensive. If the Raptor is not a Samsung or Seagate.

Hard Disk Charts: http://www.tomshardware.com/de/charts/35-festplatten-charts/Average-Read-Transfer-Performance,658.html

I've got here is an old NVIDIA GeForce 7800 and runs the well as described above. So it should be the GF9800er do.

The power supply with 525W is probably too big but not oversized.
