NV-DS29 findet keine Treiber

NV-DS29 drivers shall not

Question of DerUnger:
Mai 2007

Hi,

I unfortunately do not come next to install my cam ...

Information in advance:

Cam: Panasonic NV-DS29
Calculator: Acer Aspire 1690 with built-FireWire
OS: Windows Vista

Problem:

After inserting the FireWire cable and activate the Cam of Vista will be properly recognized!
Now they will be installed but no drivers! ?

On the website of Panasonic, I have read as follows:

Quote:
Note on the dubbing of shooting on the computer

To digital camcorder recordings to a PC or laptop to play, is always an additional hardware component required. This interface card provides the ultimate drivers necessary to connect the digital camcorder. Since no standardized s.dieser body interface, is the driver software card manufacturer-specific, and only on the respective card manufacturer. For that reason submit Panasonic camcorders neither the driver software, nor is a reference on the same Panasonic possible.

How do I now get the drivers?

For answers, I thank in advance ...!

Friendly greetings from Bochum,

Sven

Ne - Winbugs Vista - the ME of the NT-based Winbugs variants. Everything I had previously mitgekriegt is for DV editing earliest autumn reflect on Vista - currently funzt probably as good as nix it. If you have XP, Vista's half a year in the corner.

Hello Derungs,

had a similar problem which I reported a year ago in this forum have posted (search for NV-DS29). Unfortunately, without really useful answers. Synonymous've tried about a firewire card, the NV-DS29 s.meinen PC (XP Professional) and pretty much rumprobiert. I'm up to control the camera (start / stop etc.) vorgedrungen by getting the interface on the DV camera as i have described is used (Firewire cable with a small camera to Male Page and with great times on cards) . Has nothing helped, the video stream is not easy being (with a variety of video programs and tries PCs). Synonymous would like to know how to run the damn interface brings.

Hello,

I had already started a survey, but unfortunately there are few users to have problems with Vista.

Vista firewire problems

For me it has always been concerned Panasonic.

Normally, the OHCI compliant firewire card, it is in principle no extra drivers required, as a kind of USB stick.

The necessary measures for the detection MiniDV models should therefore already on the operating system to be deposited, there is no extra FW drivers for a camera.

If it does not work, unfortunately there are dozens of sources of error that you must check. Such as:

- Uninstall of SP 2
- Newest DirektX
- Different FW cable test
- Other FW interface testing (other PC)
- Correct setting of the Camera - Video playback mode - no Still Image mode or PC at Panasonic
- Power supply connection
- FW interface s.Camcorders defective
- Komunikationprobleme of the FW interface (PC) with the PC
- In recognition of the FW port, but slower processing & crashes - Processor & RAM anschauen

The list could still expand ....

With Vista there Pana but definitely a problem, why I can not say yet, because even 5 new test machine simply does not contact
to 2 GS 60 brand new place.
