Hello!
I want to buy my first camcorder and still had a few questions.
He should be very easy to use, everything possible to make cars, and a good price - performance ratio presented. After a bit I've searched the net, I think the Panasonic NV-GS80EG-S might be the right one.
In stores, he was 279th for me - Euros. I think that's a good price is, right?
Then I would like to know what you give me Battery replacement for this model you can recommend?
Because, unfortunately, my PC has no Firewire port, should I still buy such a card.
Is there something special to watch and has someone has a recommendation?
Or maybe I need no FW and USB port is enough?
An editing software, I have Studio 8 ". If this is, or should you use something newer?
And finally, can the DV In this model unlock?

Genuine Panasonic Batteries, Batteries for low-cost have generally synonymous Cheap cells. What good there is an 4.95-Batteries, 1 week after the charge is already half of the capacity lost? Dear little money to spend once and for reasonable long-term work.

At Pinnacle are the spirits, navigate. Pinnacle has the bad habit, for larger projects the project file is extremely "aufzublähen", which then often "hang" or "crash" of the application. As long as you like at Pinnacle, but well, it's probably ok. However, if problems occur, then please do not upgrade, but sensible to buy software (eg Adobe).
And finally, can the DV In this model unlock? No.. Is synonymous with the new camcorders are no longer so readily available. Therefore: Either buy a camcorder, the home of DVIn, or better still, a separate DV / DVCam Player / Rekoder (already synonymous in the minds of Cam;)).
Finally, a word on Firewire:
An easy 4.95-FW-card OHCI compliant, is sufficient. Note, however: Firewire can be used in some systems by using SP2 Blue screens;).

The fact that there are bad-Batteries are cheap, does not mean that everything which is not "Panasonic" it is no good. There are enough people who have very good experience with foreign producers Batteries have made. In particular, Ansmann and Hähnel are always mentioned and are still significantly cheaper than the originals (if synonymous expensive than the 4.95-Batteries of Ebay).

Have now after firewire cards held and found out that yes there are plenty of. For a while was the following description:
Restitution of video clips on the PCI card to your digital camcorder (only for PC software included). Ulead Video Studio 6.0 software is included.
Hmmm, does this mean now that the man with the map the cut film back into the camcorder back, or set a DV IN input ahead?
Otherwise I have Firewire 800 cards found. They have their extra cost worth it?

Obviously the latter. If it's not the camera, then it can not work.

For the transfer from the camcorder and possibly not, no. The transmission rate, which is used here, is standardized and is far below what even the slow firewire card could afford.
The use of a 800 card will therefore in this case no increase in performance. Otherwise it might look like when you thus as an external hard drive (which it is synonymous with Firewire interface exists) would follow.

sorry if I am OT annexes, but up next, a guest wrote, "DV Player buy, there is a pure player for DV tapes?
I am looking for something really synonymous, precisely in order to protect my head cam, but I've yet nowhere finds, perhaps someone has a link or an address?
Is there then any guarantee that such a part then synonymous tapes of various plays cameras, some camcorders with each other play so not even view the tapes of other cams ...?

This is of Sonyand there were at least of JVC and Panasonic. Due to the high price is worth such a device but not practical for amateur usage. Get instead prefer a second camcorder (if you have concerns about compatibility, you just the same that you use to record synonymous). And such times here in the forum under the slogan "Capture bitch" ;-) As you find more. Incidentally, capturing charged drum drive includes a head less than the record.
