Video Hello People,

I just read the various problems people here have their DV-AVI format than MPEG2 to burn to DVD, and have a question whose answer my understanding in the field easier.

For me this is no problem to burn my WMM directly to DVD. only hold as wma. File. Only why should you with the MPEG2 format it? Is the quality better?

What is the difference between an mpeg encoder program and a DVD authoring program?

PS: but still a help to:

The search brings clarity.

If this does not succeed:

wma is not in the DVD specification.
The DVD plays Stehallein do not deny it.
MPEG encoder is behaving like to authoring engine to drive a car
