Ein Gebäude entsteht. Intervallschaltung, Zeitraffer??

Re: A building is formed. Intermittent wipers, Time Lapse?

Question of dolfi:
Juni 2005

Hello, dear forum community!

I want to make a film about the construction of a building. The work will take four months. In addition to the usual settings is planned to incorporate synonymous a "lapse" effect, to grow in the house just a few seconds.
Mir is a camera with interval control available when using this technique, the equipment would have to practically s.ein accessible during construction in all weather conditions and are the same place. So that does not seem to be the best solution.
So I thought to myself, I am going to film every day for a few minutes and then accelerate the material in accordance with Prempro.
Does anyone of you ever solved a similar problem (? How) and can tell me about how the result will look like?

Thanks in advance for your tips and best regards
Dolfi

As far as I know, it is extremely difficult to be the camera every day exactly the same position and set!

you would need a fixed place s.dem the camera is always ... perhaps with a rain cover ... and then you could set the interval to half a day (or, if that is possible)

otherwise have only one per day?? or more ...

Times have done without authority like the construction of a community center. shot short scenes and frames s.verschiedenen, appropriate exit points, in more or less regular sections (2-5 times a week, within about 4 months). Then s.Schnittplatz with tricks and transitions cobbled together. That was fun, was synonymous to pretty good, I got the surprise of the town afterwards some money for it ...!

Hi Dolfi,

I create a regular time lapse recordings of construction sites. My client has to install weather-proof cams that store multiple images per day on a Web server. From there I can then retrieve and assemble to lapse. The resolution of these digital photos is not a bad way, and subsequent corrections to be synonymous, without compromising the resolution of the output format (; as a subsequent image stabilization, if the webcam has moved between shots). As far as I know you can not borrow such Webcams synonymous: http://www.mobotix.de/

Hi,
the problems with solid state courts, which must be met again and again exactly been described already. For the inauguration of the new Munich stadium ran a documentary about the Bauaktivitäten.Hier was a digital camera mounted in a Wetterhäüschen, with power supplied, controlled and with interval timer. The results were fabulous, months of construction in 20 sec. This was of course very expensive, maybe you already helps a firm position. Tube cemented into the ground, Old monopod screwed it, then you have a fixed point for the cam.
Greetings Jörg

How about with a digital camera? Which would be much cheaper (and if it is stolen you of the site ;-)) and you can view the still images into your editing program to import. I myself have not done - but as Fotoggraf would be my approach. There are so synonymous interval timer for Digiknipsen ...

I would advise synonymous with the digital camera power supply. Low resolution select 1MPixel enough. I would set the timer to one minute. You then indeed lots of pictures but for a very fluid process - besides, you can at Usefully scenes then reduce the speed.
If only the problem related to a weather-protected space has the power and where the camera is not stolen. Cheap would be a house - just in the window taking pictures - the flash of course must be - and I would also stülpen a carton - to avoid window reflections.

Have the times when building a garden Spielgerüstest done - great result.

One question though: How do you do it with the Aperture and shutter speed settings? Let your always the constant or automatic?

My client had shown me once the software, with which he remotely controls the Mobotix cameras. In practice, they run on automatic, because of the cloudy sky is light her something completely different than sunshine.

The software allowed ussynonymous separate presets for bright and dark areas, so that over-and underexposure could be effectively avoided. Before it happened, but some s.Hardarbeit and optimization was necessary.
