| Split Screen HD Project

Hi,
I have an HD project created in Premiere CS4 and a lot of work with split screen. Now I realized that the pictures if it does not involve a "full" picture, not in full resolution are. That is, if I have two pictures side by side, they are very strong, "interlaced". Why is that?

No ideas? Is it for rendering the effects may be extra settings? or for the motion effect?
