Tally - welches Zubehör benötigt?

Tally - what accessories I need?

Question of Paul*Berlin:
April 2010

Hi,
as some of you have already noticed, I am planning to this for a live stream.
Under the current state of things we would buy ourselves the Datavideo SE-500, and because it has a Tally output, I'm thinking about it, buy a Tally system, where your budget allows, at least to all the moving, that is operated cameras (for now at most 2), while exceeding the preset, it would make so much sense that no one runs through the Picture.

I have AF Marcotec by entering Tally found among other things, a box for SE-500, which costs so around 150 ¬, but I'm not quite sure what would then have to add for all. Maybe someone could give me a brief overview of you, it must not be synonymous too detailed, since I have not even chosen me, but just think about it, to do it if the price stays low. probably to the 150 ¬ for this box (http://www.marcotec-shop.de/de/products/cat_100/detail_782.htm), I think eventually show of all-at most ¬ 100. In the description so what is synonymous of "including 4 Tally Lights and RS232", that is, it should only be purchased through the cables to the cameras? That would, of course, chic.

So, I hope times, you can just bring a little darkness into the light:)
In this sense, many greetings,
Paul

If you buy you as this Datavideo ITC-100, everything is what you need. On top you'll have a complete cable intercom to "gift". It is a combined tally and intercom systems for 4 cameras, what's going on (included) 5-pin XLR cable. Even small external tally lamps with it.

I think diet NEN 1000 around completely. The included headset are junk, but it can be synonymous (connecting with soldering skill) normal nice computer headsets. Otherwise isses a nice system for small money.

If you like this too much and you need no Intercom:
To my knowledge, the Tally outputs s.dem 15-pin Sub D-s.SE-500 ordinary so-called "open collector circuits. So you can very easily with a small power supply and LED's baun the tally lights themselves.

If "open collector" for you to make a Bohemian village, I'd recommend that you to buy some ready-made product.

Markus ... :-)

Hi Mark,
yes, that's it - never heard of! If you find one somewhere to instructions, then one can still sometimes think about it. Let's see, maybe, but the Money synonymous for a tally system, I do not know, I'm just not the treasurer nor do I finance the whole (although so far already, as I put my camera and my tripod available - but the already purchased). In any case, it would, if rauslaufen on a tally system without Intercom, because if it is needed, a "one-way intercom," even on the radio had. But even that we probably will not use first (as it would be synonymous a little complicated), but of course I can tell better after we worked the first time with image mixer. Where Tally Sester natürlicheine twice as many lines as the cause operated without camcorders would - so far it is only a composite video cable ...

I see this as true that I linked to the product of only cable runs are required?

Reply thos-berlin:

A simple "one-way intercom" Can You synonymous with a simple headphone amplifier (such as Behringer) and ear plugs realize. Especially in a small area (school Studio) is an inexpensive alternative. As a cable or telephone, can cheapest diodes are used.

If a two-way intercom is required, you should follow her to the entsprechnde debate in the PA forum. Perhaps, the handicraft-AG to build the school from the schematics and board layouts for a few functioning beltpacks and the Central Unit.

At the Open Collector I dared to even synonymous Niche (my KM 600 has it) because I only have to think s.deren s.Halbleiter and then burn at the wrong circuit. But maybe I'm lying so wrong ....

In principle, the next probably nothing but an oven switch contact that is closed when the "red light" for the source.

Reply TobiasD:

Open collector outputs are, as the name implies, outputs, where one is stuck in s.den collector of the output stage (transistor). This one still needs a pull-up resistor if it is not internal so far. The pull-up is necessary because the output is high resistance when the transistor is not durchgesteuert, so he makes for a defined potential. Care has to be this, of course, what turns you for a load. With inductive loads such as a freewheeling diode should be provided! Furthermore, even the current carrying capacity is observed.

I guess with the TB-5 you will not have to worry about you. You will close on the SUB-D cable s.and s.die outputs come Tally Lights. The box is probably just there to make it easier to connect and deliver the power. The TD-1 units are probably the tally for the cameras, which are included. I guess you then need only "measly" lines in between.

The intercom system of Datavideo everything is combined. You will close the mixer on the SUB-D cable s.das intercom master device s.and the tally information then go along with the intercom signals via an XLR cable. S.Beltpack And then you have the jacks for the synonymous Tallys.

Reply Paul*Berlin:

So, thank you for your efforts,
build by itself but then I have taken considerable distance - 150 ¬ is better than 2x ¬ 800 for a 2nd SE-500!
As my "hope has been confirmed," that only the lines be purchased at the Tallys, which is synonymous in the price under strange bar, I just have to convince the "financier" for the mixer and a control monitor must indeed still synonymous ago.

The bi-directional intercom is absolutely not needed, then goes completely one-way street, and that can be implemented using existing wireless headphones receiver. And that is not necessarily synonymous necessary as synonymous with the consultation can take place directly Directing, if anything in particular to be shown. In practice, the radio system would of course then again better. We'll see ...

Best regards,
Paul
