Hello,
I have the following problem with AE (Version CS 3) with the effect "Time Distortion":
When I got out of the Avid Media Composer, export a movie (Avid DV codec, 25 fps, 720 x 576 pixels), then the jerky picture when I use the time distortion effect that applies. Looks as if the convert the fields are swapped.
I've tested half times another movie from the net (1280x720, 24 fps), here the problem does not occur.
I have been synonymous with the project and composition settings rumexperimentiert, has brought nothing. If I get my file also with 24 fps from the Avid export, then the problem does not occur, but I would like to stay at 25 fps.
Maybe somebody has an idea what's wrong? Danke schon mal in advance ..

Your footage interpretation probably not true (because of the Fields), which renders AE wrong ... Time, aside nes synonymous can be that you are with the sensitivity of the effect (threshold) is a must bissl experiment, so he did not have all the Fields zerrupft too.
