Was ist der bessere Bildstabilisator?

What is the better image stabilization?

Question of Cookie:
April 2006

Hi Folks,

I am mom. ne new thinking on Cam zuzulegen.
Now I spent a few hours to shut me smart and have now spoiled for choice btwn the GS280, HC96, MVX4i and GR-X5.
My current favorite is probably the GS280.

Most of the features I can compare and judge for yourself, but can you tell me how far the image stabilizers differ or which are really better? (optical will be better - that is really synonymous in practice?)

Greetings & n8!
January

In the price category, the differences should not be large. I love optical stabilizers, but the elktronische have clearly caught up.
Sonyhat with the best electronic.
My Favotir would be the Panasonic NV-GS 280th
Is generally regarded as synonymous price-/Leistungs "Hammer" ...
Are good, as far as I know, everyone. Is always a question of weighting of individual properties.

This rule was in the early days of image stabilizers. Today, there are synonymous bad and very good optical electronic stabilizers. However, it can in electronic stabilizers restrictions (for example, type only a limited role in the 16:9 mode).

The scoring in VideoAktivDigital in terms of stability has always been very reliable. Here are their stability scores:
GS280 - very good
HC96 - very good
MVX4i - very good
GRX5 - good

A few comments about the equipment:
On the GS280 disturb me the lack of headphone jack, and the lack of data-input. (The GS300 would at least have the latter.)
The HC96 does not even have a microphone jack, and can therefore only original Aufsteckmikros of Sony ( "Use of intelligent accessory shoe"). The headphone jack is also missing, and manual focus via touch screen is certainly not the truth.
The MVX4i has fairly complete and would be my favorite among those named. An accessory shoe is missing, although lack of space (the cabinet is small) already bad, but they are all important inputs and outputs. Toll is the manual level control.
The GR-X5 is synonymous fitted very well, but has the worse image stabilization and features than the worse lowlight MVX4i.

Thanks beiti!

Meanwhile, the MVX4i has become synonymous my favorite. Have I looked at all the cams in the land.
In particular, the housing shape of MVX4i is probably better for me with suited, because I want to do action shots), paragliding (.
The shoe with the photograph is a shame - I have already noticed synonymous (wenigsntens a passive still would certainly have fit on top of it).

Now I would only interest is, how it looks with the Laufwerksgeräuchen in MVX4i - I ask but

The intrinsic noise / noise that are not yet on Sony / Pansonic level, but for Canon (da gibts enough bad words in the 3xx / 4xx / 7xx / 8xx and 9xx series, already quite good, even small cameras are increasingly vulnerable - the drive must indeed necessarily close to the microphone's lying.

But should not the "Best Picture" be crucial for a camera?

Just drum! Those who do not always have a tripod here, is hardly off the stabilizer, and when I imagine that an electronic stability while _always_ cause a worse picture of the stabilization ...
I do not know how those things have stabilized earlier - the MVX4i deteriorated "probably not" the picture, because the stability Simply a larger picture and then covered the area never, the centrally located quiet.
(I think this was now little to understand;))

it would be stable in the 280s panasonic is a clear advantage.
and of the actual picture quality not yet spoken. The question is whether I prefer because of the dv and the headphone jack, the canon would be if the actual picture is better on the panasonic and it still has an optical stabilizer. hmmm ...

Reply Cookie:

Who says that the picture is on the Panasonic really better?

And as I have now synonymous Page of others has been confirmed to give the stabilizers not doing well in the deal.
What I wanted to write in my previous post is actually in brief: With the method, the Picture to electronic stability is not worse.

In general, I have after I've now spent about 20 h, the Pana 280s, Sony96er, 4i Canon and JVC 5X (?) Analyzed together, the feeling that all is not much give and it is more a matter of feeling, what a Cam one likes (synonymous total handling) ... The only s.Rande. ;)
