Mit 1024:576 und 720:576 im selben Projekt bearbeiten möglich?

With 1024:576 and 720:576 in the same Project can edit?

Question of ElPLasta:
April 2008

Hello

For one project we have two different DV cameras. One is anamorphic 16:9 format to (720:576) and the other format 1024:576.

We work with Avid Xpress Pro HD.

Knows someone, whether it is possible in both formats simultaneously using Avid?

About the solution, with the HD Cam synonymous only with 720x576, I have already incorporated under consideration. But I am come to the conclusion that we are only a few pictures with the 16:9 anamorphic make. At 90% we rotate with the HD Cam.

Thank you in advance for the answers

What a strange camera is that, in 1024 x 768 recording? So it's a DV camera does not. And HD cameras use much higher resolutions.

But if the software project in 1024 x 576 allows (as I said, I have never been of such a standard), then you can use just the 720er files Width to 1024 pixels high expected (or perhaps doing the editing software auto).

So there are 1024x576 PAL. Which Camera nubn the record, I do not know.

What right have you, is that HD cameras with a higher resolution work. We have the Canon XH A1 in the standard 1080i recording, ie 1920x1080.

Should I now fpr a lower resolution deciding the resolution of the 2nd Camera (720x576) better in the HD project to integrate?

No, there is not.

The question is, what with the finished film will happen. If it only on computers to be played, you can choose the resolution and my Clear synonymous take 1024 x 576. If he has any standard (eg for DVD or Blu-Ray), then you have everything to bring the standard resolutions such as 720 x 576 (DVD) or 1920 x 1080 (Blu-Ray). Whether you then the HD material runterkonvertierst or SD material hochkonvertierst, I would make the final product depends.

PS: The Canon A1 is not 1920 x 1080, but 1440 x 1080th
