Fog Effect

Question by Stoney:
Dezember 2005

Hello
I work with after effects and would like to show for the opening title of my next project, the text so that a Nebelschwade flies into the picture from which it then forms the text and just disappears.
As an example, how shall I have in mind: www.filmup.at (Video 3 under Films / International finals CAP) The clip is called "one beyond"

Although've already found a similar entry, but unfortunately I could not help really.
Thanks

Answer by jens:

Hi Stoney,
did you mean this story?
Or those?
In both is not written that you would reach your goals blur with.
Best regards,
Jens

Answer by Jörg:

Hi,
I have the beginning of the film views. If you think the logo Advertisement s.Anfang z: B One beyond, then they are not completely emerged from fog. This is certainly a SmartMask interpolation between at least 2 masks.
Put it to you this way: at the In point is a circle mask s.outpoint a square. AE offers interpolate the ingenious way this mask.
That is, it changes its fluid form.
To illustrate here is an excerpt from my LotR end - lol --

Create font from the fog is possible in AE per board, with resources, using particle emitters, blur and clever choice of a text presets.
But is quite extensive, if financial resources are available for a plugin: trapcode particular
