Infoseite // 25fps full screen transform into fields

Frage von Germ:

Hello,
have rendered frames 25fps, customer needs, but for TV after all fields. How can I convert it to interlaced, with no timeline problems or quality loss? (eg in Adobe AE and Premiere Pro, and Digital Fusion, or Combustion) ... (or is it so simple that it is not already on it ;-)
Gruss,
Germ

Antwort von jojo:

Ne easy to burn DVD. The DVD standard calls for half-frames and thus it is automatically converted.

Um, this is probably one of the worst answers ever.

Do I need to explain the nonsense?
AVI to MPEG compression loss (possibly worse encoder)
-As the MPEG encoder is the Halbbilderfrage?

That you can chase the file, simply with a converter is surely obvious that the only question is how to handle this, because most of the converter will probably take both fields heruntergescaltes simply a full screen, it correctly notes, however (at least for DV-AVI ), the even lines first and then the odd.

The following Avisynth script should do it untested (!)

[code: 1:0 a6837391f]
AviSource ( "file.avi");
AssumeFrameBased
SeparateFields
SelectEvery (2, 0,0,1,1)
# Should be the field order top-first, it must still
# ComplementParity
# to be inserted.
Weave ();
[/ code: 1:0 a6837391f]

All data without guarantee.

Antwort von PowerMac:

The conversion is meaningless. You need do nothing. Nothing.
25p will be automatically packed in 50 fields. So you always have both 25 as synonymous 50i. It is interesting only in a technical format that is logical in there in the end.

Antwort von Hogar:

I think one was forgotten here: The full-interlaced issue is too often the technical with the visual mix.

If the product it look like half-frames, or simply meet the technical standard? When it's all about the technical standard, that's right, says what PowerMac. Since you have to do anything. Frames are automatically displayed as fields. Although I am as synonymous not so sure what's happening with monitors, can represent the real frames. Because the TV channels must indeed also choose to send any extra information, if the materials are now fields or frames. But if you give the customer an AVI anyway, and it in "his" format brings (Digibeta or what always synonymous), he must already know himself, how he does it.

Does the customer with half-frames that makes it look like video, that is, 50 fields per second, will you really only render everything again. This naturally brings only happen if there are ever so much movement in the base material dissolution.

Hello s.alle,
THANKS for the tips, finally, we read from this that there might be some question of philosophy (except) the technology issue.
@ Hogar: So we have finally done it, re-rendered with 50 fields ...
So guys, thanks again, and now, then once happy Easter eggs!

No, actually it is not philosophy, but a question of the requirement s.das material. - But how is the synonymous, the material with half-frames were re-render at exactly the right way. ;-)
