Infoseite // A lot of content on a DVD getting to walk like?

Frage von jangool:

I currently take a regular television series on DVD (RW)) on (with a recorder.
My plan is to create my own DVD box, so I want to bring as many episodes as possible onto a DVD to fit on industrial DVDs always much more impact than I could.

How do I do s.besten that, with the lowest possible quality loss?

Information:
1. Every sequence (approx. 40 minutes) is recorded on DVD, where they are being used as VOB files.
2. Because I want rausschneiden advertising, I need to edit the vob files.
3. Test, I've replaced the extension by MPEG and can drag it into my program as "Ulead Media Studio 8 Pro" and edit.

How do I convert the movie now to s.besten (codec?) So I can get more than 3 episodes on DVD?
What can you do with DivX?

Thank you!

As a normal DVD into the DVD player you can put, there's no really good solution. Just stop runterschrauben quality.
The reason why industrialists on DVD's more fit is simply the fact that they are pressed in a pressing plant, and not stigmatized to a blank disc.

I do not understand why chin-ups will be made here again to save space too. The time draufgeht the while, is worth more than the material savings.

Since there are DVD players that can play the DivX, that would be an alternative. Want to stay safe on DVD, then you can at best 3 episodes instead of 4 raise at the target. Much more than 2 hours but I would not want to bring to a DVD.

If you are in a TV series, which has 100 episodes, without any special actions bring three episodes on a disc, then you'll need 34 slices. Du Creates 4 episodes on a disc, it's only 25th The savings thus bertägt 9 disc, the disc current price (50 Spindle for 25, -) in under 5 euros.

So why sit for hours in front of the calculator and squander a lot of CPU? .....

This has nothing to do with pressing. A DVD is either a DVD5 or DVD9 with 4.7 GB with 8.5 GB. Whether pressed or burned - everywhere the same space is available.

@ Thread creator
Proper DVDs with series have usually synonymous. more than five episodes on a disc this uses a DVD9 and it might end up on it a total of 150 minutes.

The only way to beat this, accept without astringent quality loss is a need to encode to MPEG-4 (eg DivX or XviD).
