Infoseite // AC-3 filter for VirtualDub-MPEG2 does not work (distorted sound)

Frage von otnemem:

Hello,
am for the first time here in the forum and hope that the issue is not ever been asked.
I have (foolishly) a DVD of Amazon.com and ordered forgotten that the region 1 is yes. So I have the files on the disk and wanted to draw them into VirtualDub to convert avis to them in Premiere back to the corresponding files in PAL DVD format. In the version of VirtualDub MPEG2 video compression have Panasonic DV CODEC chosen (had the Panasonic VFW DV codec installed previously) and audio compression, I wanted to take the AC3 filter (which I had previously installed and in synonymous with VirtualDub filter input, and resample Added output). The filter is synonymous accepted - no error - but the sound is already in avi totally distorted. Even with Lame MP3 ichs've tried to do that is not accepted. Also let's not uncompressed. The only resulting in a halfway acceptable sound is if I copy direct audio stream # # indicates. In the premiere is in turn totally distorted. The audio stream of the original DVD is in English Dolby AC-3 / 1 format. As I did the first time with the pull of video files of a DVD, I now employ a little perplexed. Would be great if someone in the forum would have an idea yet.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the link.
Unfortunately, the wav file with VirtualDubMod which I do not CDex capture and other programs seem synonymous with the wav file somehow not cope (Adobe Audition, Nero etc). Only in Media Player lets it play. If the s.einer possibly setting in VirtualDubMod I've seen about?
