Infoseite // ADVC 300 (status LED lights up red)

Frage von Boris79:

Hello,

I have a problem with my ADVC 300th The Status LED lights red when trying to digitize a VHS. The LED goes sporadically for a few seconds and then again next s.and always so. The moment when the LED regards darkens the Picture of the VHS so much that you almost recognize anything anymore.

Normally, I would tap macro vision. But as a not obscure the picture speaks for it and the cassette is synonymous of 1985, I think it is unlikely that it is s.einem copy. Where else might the problem lie?

But Boris, which speaks well for it. - Should not the video to be copy protected, probably good for reproducing the recorder nothing (the chain is only as strong as its weakest link) and send "crooked" video signals to the transducer. In this case, an intermediary helps TBC.

By the way, helping synonymous in the case of copy protection. ;-)

Hello,

VAD had times when a tip for the older ADVC 100, I do not know if the newer 300 synonymous, however small game adopts it.

The ADVC 100 detects the Macrovision's copy protection and it flashes the status light, then the input selector 15 are sec down, and when cast as the picture seems clear then, without the safeguards designed.

Hi,

Unfortunately, the trick does not work at 300. I'm now no TBC ordered but the ELRO 300N video limiter. So it should work synonymous.

I do not understand why an intermediate TB can solve the problem, but the built-in my VCR AND NOT ADVC succeeds.

Incidentally, the VCR is a Panasonic NV-SV121 (even brand new bought for 239 ¬). This is the first and so far the only cassette that has the problem. Well, with the Elro should this be resolved I hope. I wanted not a third TBC dazwischenhängen. I find two clear enough.

Thanks for the answers

VCRs are dumbfounded by law to spend Macrovision. When ADVC-300 the situation is similar: it must recognize the copy protection and refuse to digitize. This of course is silly, if a recorder outputs for lack of product quality video signals so inclined to be irritated downstream devices.

A separate TB from a video signal from whatever should not be there, and builds on the synchronization from scratch. This will not disappear-complying units so synonymous Macrovision or that which had kept the ADVC-300 for it. ;-)
