Infoseite // Adobe Encore 1.1 / 16:9 Picture pruned

Frage von Anonymous:

Hello!

I despair for some time s.diesem problem:

when play dvd in the dvd-player restricts the player or the TV, the vertical edges of the 16:9 image to approximately 8%.

following approach:

I have the 16:9-camera images captured in premiere 2.0 (PAL widescreen), cut in size and 720x576 (1.422 pixel format) stored again. then the streams in adobe encore 1.1 arranged and issued on DVD.
the View menu, as well as handling and film (quality) are tip-top, but the building as described above, trimmed (no distortion!)!

I have the disc already on 6 different players and TV sets (including 4:3 - and 16:9-tube) and synonymous tested various parameters adjusted s.den devices - the problem I could not be there!
this is an encore (attitudinal)-problem?
Or is s.den dvd / TV devices?

maybe who of you a solution ...!?

Best thanks in advance

Has nothing to do with Encore. The problem is called overscan. (Search in the forum)

You must already be careful when shooting, this area should not be used because (depending on the screen) more or less s.den edges truncated.

The percentage varies, depending on whom you ask - or what TV you nachrechnet. For security reasons, is expected with 10% trim and another 10% by the safe title area. ;-)
