I use After Effects CS4, and have a AdioFire4 soundcard s.nem Mac.
When you scrub with the command key and synonymous with the rendered output with the sound is all right. In Ramvorschau this is slower and is apparently playing with the wrong sample rate. In the end, he is then chopped off easy.
The hardware and sample rate are in After Effects and synonymous with the project settings actually set correctly.
What may still lie? Is it possible to adjust the sample rate for audio preview separately yet?

What format do you use? AE may s.liebsten wav with mp3 etc., it has usually trouble.

If I, after I created a sound with Logic with the external sound card and loading them in After Effects, swiche the internal sound card, then everything is okay.
Well today I have the internal sound card with a sound created in Logic and this was now in the Ramvorschau in After Effects again slowly. Then I switched back to the external AudieFire sound card and it went on. Seems so, that I sound cards when working with the two programs must always change, so that it works. That is not much fun. So either it is a very bad hardware failure or a very stupid mistake of me. I do not mags, if things do not work and remain unaccountable. Hopefully someone has a special idea.
