Hello,
I work with Avid Express Pro 4.5 and an XL2, which I use for capturing and for playout.
Due to the max. Tape length of 90 minutes I was thinking that cut material during Digital Cut via firewire external s.den Stand-Alone Send a burner.
Problem: the device is not under "Check decks" or under "Configurate Auto detected, so I can not see it.
Is there a driver solution or has anyone of you get a different suggestion how I can play the digital signal and not have to export to DVD or to S-VHS quality down to do so?

Hello,
Some DVD recorders accept s.der Firewire interface only playbacks of DV camcorders or recorders. Take the analog line, the quality loss is usually negligible.
