Hello!
I'm still more in the beginners' area in terms of DV editing and am currently facing the following problem:
I would cut a total video ... but a part with my old cam has been rotated (640x480) and with the new 720p 16:9 accordingly.
Now I add both videos and I've set standard 4:3, is my 720p video compressed together to 640x480.
Now my question: How can I either pull the 720p picture insert and cut away the side or slightly above and below black bars to fit the relationship again? When cropping is indeed cut off a little but not torn.
I hope I can help someone who already spend all afternoon with the subject.

Try going into the project settings (Alt + Enter)!
Here, then "Edit" button>
in the tab "Video Editor" should "perform non-full square pixel rendering" option enabled.

If necessary. You can synonymous maintained over the Mediequelloptionen (right mouse button on the clip)> Aspect ratio, for bringing the clip back on their own format.
