Infoseite // Boundary microphone?

Frage von st.aub:

Hi,
I'm new here in the forum. I work for a church in Russia. This will now take place a video transmission. The cameras and everything I've already synonymous and works quite well. Only I have problems with the sound. In particular, the answers can not hear one of the community. My question is, which is s.besten Microphone for it. I then looked a bit on the internet and came across Boundary Microphones. Well, is that right? Has anyone of you already made experience with the recording of "Publikumston"? Would be really grateful for any help ....

Did you answers with the community ... we are indeed in a church ... something like "We beseech Thee, hear us!"?

A boundary microphone, the acoustic property to collect on smooth surfaces (eg table) a speaker's voice with the least possible frequency cancellations.

The audience for a church I would take a club. Please do not misunderstand ... :)

Yes, we are in a church which was built in a semicircle. That is, the people sitting in a semicircle towards the altar. That, or the microphones are to find the answers (we ask that you hear us) but record the song synonymous with the community. I just hang the microphones of the ceiling. However, I have a ceiling height of 10 meters.

Thanks for the quick reply

Hi,

comes to the Athmo Puplikum or individual voices?

In the latter, I would recommend a hand-held radio microphone which should be passed around.

On the altar, I could certainly see myself (at a given acoustic conditions), an interface where the pastor is not to create Lapel, it can not hide s.ihm (which I can hardly imagine).
In the case of video transmission esjedoch I think be no preference when a microphone in the picture is of the by, I would recommend this for club synonymous (at least as directed)

It's about the Athmo. The pastor is a badge-Micro.

Let's hang balls of the ceiling. Alternatively Grenzflächenmics s.die pillar. All other microphone types to be disturbed by echo interference.

Oh yes, one probably. still important. It should not only be transferred once, but every Sunday. Thus, a permanent installation

An Interfacial Micro combines the sound waves. You take not the delayed waves of sound source, walls and ceiling, which take from all directions to the membrane, but all at once, when the waves in front of the Micro "hit". Another advantage of a boundary layer mics is that you are (almost) can place anywhere and it results that you could achieve with any other micro s.diesen points.

Since the community is not a dot source, but really only room, it would be an opportunity to try one. You score, however, synonymous useful performance with two large diaphragm microphones directed at the benches. Take four or microphones. However, you must not close to the audience, as you otherwise might in any community response, the squeaky voice of Grandma hear it in the front left foreground. It's annoying after three times, "Oh, hear us."! And then you ask God for a Flash. I know this

Basically you should you take as much time on the sound, as for the Picture. Since you are looking for beautiful synonymous perspectives, backgrounds, or for mood lighting, or, or ... If you sound just as meticulous with the work around, you'll get good sound with security. And since the transfer takes place regularly, you can improve until it's perfect.

Greetings,
Dirk

Hi,

buy yourself a cheap stereo microphone set (small membrane are probably cheaper and easier to install).

If possible, as I said, suspended balls of the top, otherwise kidney of the page. (Front they'll be in the picture, or take place ...)
