Hi,
I'm on the search for a camcorder that can meet my needs. Happy synonymous and used older models.
I want it mainly to film events, conduct interviews, create a possibly synonymous few short films. I also need him for the filming of old Super 8 films.
HD quality I do not need mandatory. Ideally, we would of course, if I could switch between HD image quality and worse. Mirkrofonanschluss (TRS) must be present. I think 3CCD it should be. In the SD area, the recommendation would be out of your pre-clear the VX2000, is synonymous with probably only if the very best of luck for 500 ¬ to get. But even though I am a big fan of this camera series, I would purchase today at a guess an HD camera, as thou hast synonymous with the HV30/40 already on the list. A 3CCD system, it has not, but the quality is well recognized and their HDV format is not as demanding s.das editing system. It also has a filter size of 43mm, so that fits your existing converter. How far the image quality of this combination is useful to be seen, of course, only in practice. In short, with a Canon HV are you doing anything wrong.

To edit a laptop with i5 processor will be available.
The disadvantage: No Firewire input. It would be useful, as the movie files are transferred via HDMI or USB did. Can the General Meetings it?

No, that can not HDV camcorder - and almost no way synonymous DV camcorder, so that none of the cameras come out of your pre-selection in question. But is your laptop a PCMCIA or ExpressCard slot? Then it would be easy to retrofit a Firewire interface.

... Which camcorder that records directly to digital is it ... What do you mean with "digitally"? Each DV - HDV - and AVCHD camcorder records on digital, but just in different formats and on different media, from tape to memory card.
