Hello Forum,
I have my calculator with an ASUS P6X58D-E internal sound card. At the various audio outputs my 5.1 sound system Logitech X-540 is connected.
I have Adobe Premiere CS5 create a sequence with a 5.1 and 5 master track mono audio tracks. In the audio mixer I can Panner 5.1 over the traces a "point in space" map. For example, the back left.
It has struck me that I really only hear left and right a difference, but not the front / rear. After some search I've noticed the following:
Under Edit -> Preferences -> Assign audio output I see only two speakers, which I only have the 5.1 "variety" front right and front left can match.
Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) - 1
and
Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) - 2
Does this mean that with my sound card I can not preview the 5.1 sound s.Calculator? Latest drivers installed. Or what am I doing wrong?

Probably need other drivers, with ASIO support. Or a different sound card that cooperates with Premiere!

The channels in Realtek Sound Manager (Audio I / O) set (this is the little red speaker in the taskbar)

Hi,
Thank you for your answers. The speakers I had already configured in the Sound Manager. This has not helped.
Now I have ASIO4ALL installed. Here we go :-)
