Canon HF10, Panasonic HDC-SD5EG or SonyHDR-CX

Question by rene76:
März 2008

Hello

I'm looking for a suitable cam. My wishes:

- SD card (no hard drive or tape)
- Resolutionfür my HD LCD TV
- HDMI or DVI output
- Easy handling s.PC
- Taking pictures outdoors and in the House

I now have some time on the Internet and read'm Cams rise to the following:

Canon HF10 / HF100
Actually spicht nothing against these cams. Unfortunately, there is little to read, because they are fairly new. The internal memory of 16 GB would be very interesting.

Panasonic HDC-SD5EG
In low light conditions, this Cam to have some trouble. Therefore, rather less in question.

SonyHDR-CX6 / CX7
From the Studio and Handling ago I have read a lot of good. What bothers me is the Karftenformat (Memory Stick Duo). Also, the processing s.PC is not very good.

I can not quite decide, but tend towards Canon. Or I have a password?

Gruss rene76

I'm also on the lookout for a new camcorder - and synonymous with the Canon (HF10 and HF100) stuck.
The internal memory is not just my view interesting, because it is expensive to be bought, what street prices illustrate the following:
HF10 -> 980, --
HF200 -> 820, --
For the 160, - Euro difference to get TWO of HF10 assembled 16GB SDHC cards.
The only difference between HF10 and HF100 is - according to Canon Page - the one that the HF100 does not simultaneously record video and photo shoot can be. Who can not use it, is probably with the HF100 better served.

Answer by Flo_vdH:

Hello

I will have no of the above Cams buy, because I do not want AVCHD format. To edit s.PC this format is just too slow or you need a racer.

The Sonys work almost exclusively only with AVCHD. In what format the Canon H10 records is unknown to me. Weiss da jemand mehr?

For me it will now be a Canon HV20.

Answer by disko:

drüber ever thought that you initially Sowieso the AVCHD format to have it make sense to be able to process? Most editing programs can not NICH. mac to go with iMovie 08 and the current FinalCut pro as I've heard and read ... but there is a good way synonymous with a small tool that persuasive on both PC and MAC to convert:

Answer by disko:

Has someone an exact delivery date for the HF10 or HF100 can learn?

Answer by dvcut:

The Canon HF10 we like Personally s.Besten. Although the concept of MS Sonysynonymous has its charm. Unfortunately, there is the cheap Sandisk MS no longer. The delivery of the HF10 will begin in the next 14 days, at current price is below EUR 1,000

Answer by jbl:

"My" HF100 probably comes to me tomorrow. Ordered yesterday at dvcut for 799, - Euro plus shipping and delivery. Overall, I come cheap at 812, - Euro:)

Read the times on the two reports on www.camcorderinfo.com through. Lump is probably not the answer. Especially on the Page, we often made reference to the HV30:
