Infoseite // Canon HF100: 24p or 25p version to buy? (United States, the 100th ...)

Frage von Gundolf:

Moin,

before the screaming starts: In the following, only HDMI, so please do not come to me with PAL / NTSC ...
I want to buy me a HF100 to 24p or 25p to rotate. Because most synonymous in the near future, most of Hollywood ham in 24p are rotated, and the Manufacturer of Full HD televisions in order to promote this format to support, is my question:
What makes it really in practice for a difference in whether I 24p (U.S. version) or 25p (EU version) movies?
And what I wonder all the time to ask: In the AVCHD specification (http://www.avchd-info.org/format/index.html), there is absolutely no 1080/25p - then how can Canon camcorder in Europe, under the label AVCHD sell?

Greeting
Gundolf

Different versions for the European and the U.S. market are nothing new: The HF100 is behaving no different than any other camcorder synonymous.

Yes I am that my synonymous.

The thread creator should be but rather ask what he wants. Want to Hollywood films or home videos? If there are home videos, you will have no joy with eh em jerky 24/25p mode for Hollywood movies and you should think about a few hundred thousand euros more auszuegben;)

Why include it because of the increasingly Movies / Bluray formats in consumer camcorders, the two completely different areas.

Antwort von ntsc:

People,

the HF100 in the USA 24P and 30P. In 30P mode is nothing more with jerky. Can the 25P mode pack. This can make even decent videos of his children at soccer games without turning to procure * NEN fields. So my decision would be guaranteed on a U.S. HF100 fall. Is synonymous cheaper, but only if one does not wish to submit warranty.

Antwort von andi62:

30p can BOTH versions (U.S. and European). only 24p (U.S.) and 25p (European) differ.

BTW: there is the possibility synonymous with both incorporated in 60i and then convert interlaced to progressive. NEN is worth trying if you have something experientieren want ...
