Hello,
I was there on a DV Storm gecapture'te clips, which I will now edit on a Mac / Final Cut Pro platform. Unfortunately, I lack the necessary codec. Canopus even when I find a download for Mac, but I'm pretty sure it was the time ...
Has anyone an idea where it gives or how I could solve it differently ...

From a software of Canopus DV codec for Mac, I have never heard of. Perhaps you are confusing what with AVDV of Canopus converter boxes that can be used entirely synonymous s.einem Mac?
Technically, you could get ahead if you succeed, patch the typ Canopus FOURCC in AVI files by regular FOURCC the DV codecs. Because the AVI files are usually quite large, is an "intelligent" hex editor or other tool needed patch, which does not attempt to read the entire file.
Such a tool could be on the PC Page abcAVI Tag Editor.

Ultimately, the codec is interesting when it comes to decoding and presentation of the material. Quicktime should actually synonymous with the DV, which was under gecapturt Canopus software work ...
There is no Canopus codec for the Mac. If you can not open the clips partout, Quicktime installed on your PC and export the clips again, all by batch list as Quicktime.

To play on Quicktime I lack a component that is not mentioned, unfortunately I have now, however, can be solved via the VLC player which plays the clip and I am also the opportunity it gives to transcode.
