I have the following problem: I have a lot of videos from a Canon XH A1 with Edius Pro 4.5 HQ AVIs with 1080i and 60 frames per second captured. Now my presentation program, but only m2t files from the timeline deinterlace. Can I use these HQ AVI files into Edius 5/Procoder to convert m2t files?

You can Edius 4.5 but in the timeline into an output file. Here you select either HD or mpeg-speed encoder. Then you will receive an m2t file.
