Hello.
Do you have an image editing program such as Photoshop? I have a DVD cover scanned (the document which was found in the standard DVD Covers appeal). This was at a print resolution of 300 pixels per inch a width of 27.3 cm and 18.5 cm Height of one, which corresponds to 3224 x 2185 pixels. It is synonymous (eg, Illustrator) templates for common standards, synonymous intended as freeware, but with the specified sizes you can work well. In Photoshop, you can share this template for example under the heading File: Save New: Default: Own with the name "DVD Cover".

A simple but very useful tool is the cover designer of NERO, which lies as a free addition with the package.

You could be synonymous with a ruler to measure out an existing shell. Is probably the easiest and fastest way. The dimensions in pixels says nothing, because it depends on with what Resolutiondu then want to print.
So take: Ruler to open Photoshop and type in "New Dimensions in cm, and the desire to choose as Resolution300dpi, then you have a good printable template.
So I made it and it works like a charm ...

Hi All,

DVD cases do have similar dimensions, but these are not always exactly the same. Therefore synonymous trim, my tip: a pattern that fit exactly and then measured.
