Infoseite // Digibeta to spend for television

Frage von Monsta:

Hello,
I am working currently with the SonyZ1e and would like to just copy the finished film later on Digibeta.
Does anybody know what needs to be respected?

I even cut on Premiere Pro 2.0, but would have access synonymous with Final Cut Pro on a PowerMac.

I imagine, to edit the film on HDV, color correction, etc., and then back as HDV tape. Then connect the camera in a studio s.den Digibetarecorder and to make dub. Is that any way, or how do I get the best quality?

I personally would not cut the film as HDV () 1. quality loss, but the clips as HDV import and convert at least into the makeshift codec like MainConcept or even DVCPROHD. And yet it works better and it has a better color space. The overkill would Unkomprimimiert 10 bits.
If one out then color correction, projections, oversampling, deinterlacing, and of course, titling, etc. apply, see the HD material s.Schluss significantly better than an edited HDV file.

I would be down sampling the s.end with these instructions:

And in an uncompressed 8-bit file in Quicktime. This pack on ne DVD, traipse to the transmitter. Kick it in Avid, write to tape and perfect quality. The Digibeta VTR's just connected s.den quality editing suite. From Z1 to Digibeta VTR rather mud comes out. Because you'd have internal of HDV to DV in the Z1 (runterrechnen 2nd quality loss) to After Effects) and would have no connection to high-MAZ (3. quality loss.

Thanks for the detailed answer!

You're right, of the camera directly, there is no good output for Maz.

So you mean HDV files 1:1 capture of the camera, then make the raw version, then unkonvertieren in the MainConcept codec or DVCPRO HD (only Final Cut Pro?), Then place the finished film and then output uncompressed 8 bit?

With the main concept codec you mean the "MainConcept MPEG Pro HD 2.0"?
I can not synonymous because in APP 2 and After Effects and s.end to count the edited HDVS bit to uncompressed 8?

The film is about 52 minutes. Since I need for 8 bit uncompressed approx 1.3 GB per minute, right?

In sequence:

1) I would convert even before the first cut, in an intermediate codec. Even in the rough cut number of frames being rendered because of the long Gops Mpeg2 -> loss of quality. Yes, for example, the MainConcept or DVPROHD or what was there. All good;) all need about 10 MB / s - 12 MB / s.

2) When everything is ready, you have the FIlm including color correction, titling, etc. in your transportation codec. Now will you give in After Effects with the Fieldskit method to 8 bit uncompressed out in PAL (4:2:2). After Effetcs is particularly good at down sampling.

Many thanks Powermac!

Then it would proceed. as described.
10 bit uncompressed would be a lot of data, no?

Antwort von PowerMac:

Expect some .... in true high-gloss TV often takes one 10-bit rendering because it looks just a tad bit better than 8 bits to Digibeta. Whether Digibeta is internal 8 or 10 bits, some debatable. Although Outputs than 8 bits, the internal Farbsampling but seems to be somewhat better.

oh?
I thought digibeta cams in general take on over 10 bits. bands on the blue, it is natural bit in 8th but it does seem as if almost synonymous digibetas one Höhr resolution than sd and downkonvertieren then.

well, would certainly render it in 8bit. hope it works with the codec.
