because it was no overheating. 8 programs when run is also no difference noted.
hardware has not been replaced but it could certainly s.einen are just broken, I do not know where.

I would tap that your project AFX much RAM is needed. In such a case, Windows stores parts of the kernel on the hard drive from. When a redraw command is sent s.die surface, it needs something to back up of the hard drive is loaded.
Push it out STRG-/ALT/Entf on your keyboard when it is time again and look in the Taskmanager under performance / pagefile usage according to how much memory your processes need (do not know exactly how it does under the German XP). If there is a lot more than you have installed, a RAM expansion help.
