Hello Forum;
We are looking for our Mehrkameraproduktionen (Sony HDVCams) an additional external storage capability (with a longer recording capacity than tape).
Actually, we wanted to grow of Sonyden Harddiscrecorder HVR-DR60, which are then, however, encountered on a Compact Flash recorder as SonyHVR-MRC1K, FOCUS Firestore.
Question: Is the investment in the Compact Flash Recorder with removable flash cards (which will surely expand capacity at lower prices probably not), the more sensible purchase? Or are there disadvantages compared to the hard drive?
We cut with MacroSystem S4100, there can be problems with the post-processing of film material of tape - mixed with shots of the flash recorder?

Yes if you have multiple cameras should you prefer to buy a rack of MOTU or so than when trying to use Flash recorder.
