I use Final Cut Pro 5.1 on a Macbook Pro with 2GB RAM.
The performance is an exception to actually excellent.
The problem: All the clips that get to the preview in the viewer moves are not error-free play. The video jerky and freezes often synonymous an audio error-free runs, but next. Before 3 months I have only dealt with DV footage, then a long time just now and again HDV dv. For dv footage, I have exactly the problem that the clips in the viewer and bucking in the timeline as normal play.
HDV is running in the viewer, and timeline problems.
I use for editing dv dv simply default.
Macbook 2GHz 2gb ram
fcp6 (5.1 was the same problem)
