Hi,
Hab rumgesucht times here in the forum and I hope that with this so-called firewire a better transmission than with USB2.0 get. Den my videos are always choppy over. What a card you could advise me or has no preference what I buy for?

Firewire ... What a card you could advise me or has no preference what I buy for? As long as the card is "OHCI-compatible" is (and this should be practically all), you can not do much wrong. If you do not have Firewire cable, it would offer a bundle from the same Firewire card and cable to be taken.

Hey guys, now n then had firewire card installed. Installed and everything synonymous with no error message etc. but I get it out the net I n connection to the PC with the camcorder can. The card has still synonymous and USB connections to work. But with the link cable I just gehts net. Must be something I consider? Once arrived n camcorder icon in the taskbar bottom right but then net more. No matter how often ichs try. Have never had Firewire. Gibts da tricks?

Try it out, with the Windows Movie Maker (or the Schniit-/Captureprogramm your choice) the camera address and videos is available.
My humble experience with 3 PC is controlling and capturing via firewire with no problems.

A camera connected s.Firewire not appear in the Explorer to ... My camcorder appear in the Explorer at all. Only capturing logically there can not.

So, in the device manager everything is ok. Since everything is correctly displayed and ready for use. If I go high PC Cam erscheind once put on the Cam in the taskbar, then net more. Maybe you need Cam to any playback mode, so that works. Look at the manual at times.

Oh and I have a SonyDCR HC14e
In the instructions there is nothing to Sonynur because the USB cable and has settled with only writes but it is otherwise synonymous nix :-( Will finally gescheid smooth shots ....
