Infoseite // Format on the computer does not fit with the on Television

Frage von cwessjohann:

I have of Pinnacle Liquid 6 to Avid 7.2 updated.
A pre-existing project, I could easily edit 7.2.
The Calculator is synonymous everything OK. Both liquid as synonymous in the playing of the created DVD with WinDVD is flawless.

The playing of the draw with a DVD player, however, shows a format error. The picture is not completely visible. There is a lack of left and right parts, it would be 16:9 without adjustment 4:3 played.

Also fits highlightbroken Ramen in the DVD menu so garnicht the associated Picone.
Where jemant?

To put "croppt" of the Television Picture as missing for technical reasons s.den pages picture parts. Can you imagine in your NLE, the so-called "safe areas" to show? This is the area where the DVD Menuelemente or guarantees are visible, still work.
Look in the attached paper, which areas s.Television may not be displayed ... everything outside the frame. On the other hand, can do nothing - except the menus within the framework and to arrange this picture in mind recording.

Ok Thanks. The top and bottom missing nothing, only s.den pages.
There will be something I probably need to tinker.
Oddly, that with version 6 of the burned DVD the picture in the desired (normal) format has. After the takeover weiterm Edit and then it's gone.
On the PC is synonymous everything OK. Will probably times synonymous with another DVD player review.
Thanks for the info!

I just wanted synonymous already "Overscan" roar, but a closer reading, it sounds but then another problem. You see the Picture formatfüllend on a 4:3 television, so all over the Height, but the left and right is missing a lot, right? So it is right to 4:3 gecroppt, correct? Then you have when creating the file or the DVD done something wrong, usually does it on a video DVD does not. Did you really a video DVD created? Because it could happen than that you are an anamorphic picture on the television to see, so with "egg heads", if you've forgotten, 16:9 cross. But the effect of stories you can only occur if you have a file with a different Resolutionals 720 times 576've created, for example 1024 x 576th That would only be a correct resolution when it comes to the import of graphics or still images for PAL 16:9 goes, but not for the issue, because a PAL DVD ever with 720 times 576 is defined.

The settings of the sequences and when creating the DVD are OK.
But I have just noticed that the clips at 4:3 aspect ratio for you. They are, however, been recorded in 16:9!
Where, therefore, the question how do I get the back to 16:9?
Hope this is resolved the problem.

Do you have the MPEG2 files? This can be seen with the "DVD Patcher" correct.

The image on the DVD video is in DV video is 720 × 576 pixels, no preference whether 4:3 or 16:9. Only the indication of pixels Aspect Ratio (PAR) will decide whether the images in 4:3 or 16:9 can be played.
