Infoseite // Fullscreen playback of a DVD s.Monitor

Frage von Rat Suchender:

Dear experts,
I have tried to answer my questions to find, but was unfortunately unsuccessful, so now the test on this forum:

Yesterday I tried a DVD s.PC Monitor (Eizo) and play for the KMPlayer uses. Klappt course, in principle, very simple, but the quality - I think - in fullscreen mode is not so special. The Picture is blurred.

At the monitor's lies I do not think so, because streaks or something, which is clearly on the reaction suggests, I can not see.

Now I know that the DVD Mpeg 2 encoded and a PAL Resolutionbesitzt. So if I go the DVD on my monitor at 1600x1200 in the full presumption that each pixel must be "inflated" are. Also, I know that the picture de-interlaced and rendered to be.

Now my questions:

1. If the blur (only) so that each pixel must be enlarged in fullscreen mode or is there still other reasons?
2. Can anything against the blur in fullscreen mode to do (apart from this mode to avoid ...)?
3. If you basically s.Monitor only DVD in native resolution (ie 100% in line with 720 pixels horizontally at PAL) Look, if you do not want blurred?
4. What's else is important about what I know and that should be taken?

Thank you for your help.

It is completely normal that your DVD - Picture in fullscreen mode is not good.

Each pixel is inflated, thus creating even time a blur, as you've correctly identified. In addition there is the fuzziness of this deinterlacer.

If you have the picture as a 720x576 display, it will be even a little bit better. The Deinterlace - problem you probably can not solve.
Alternatively, you can next wegsetzten of the monitor. That will probably bring the best quality ...

Maybe you'll find more suggestions in this thread here

Hi, you have no possibility of a TV (37cm-51 cm) next to the monitor? Then you have but a very good picture. If still synonymous SVHS
Female drann would be even better.

I have now read pretty in white matter and, therefore, that this is a good and proper tip is. Many ambitious Hoby filmmakers and professionals make the best case?

Is there something special equipment?

Should you have for the VOB files from the DVD to convert H264 or Divx, or how did you mean?

Anyone who seriously cuts videotapes, assessed the images on a separate television or video monitor.

A television is enough at first, but more so when one is working or a more accurate / reliable picture control needs is a professional video monitor better. The latter is s.ca. ¬ 650 upwards.
