Hello - I have the following problem:
I've got with the Canon XH-A1 HDV rotated. Now I would like the material during the digitization in DV down convertieren - and although the camera function with HD down conversion.
But here my problem: Once the camera is connected via firewire does not work anymore! (= The function in the camera menu is gray and not selectable: ---)
Someone knows why I Downconvertierung can no longer activate when a firewire cable is connected? Is there a trick?
(I cut with Avid Xpress Pro.)
I would be very grateful for help!

Hello,
the solution of your problem is obvious: Disconnect the camcorder from the computer, activate the Downconvert and close the device again.

Well - good question: can this be somewhere in Avid to see what type of material it is?
I was aback, because the program crashes sometimes when I use the material off to a trial.

do you work with or without Mojo, just try both. Then again synonymous to the device under control "deck configuration" check.
If it does garnicht:
Firewire cable exchange
other program-use iMovie or Movie Maker
-with others to restore the DV camcorder
-XH-A1 s.einem try another PC
should be sufficient for the first time.
Power then 50 euros for official support AVID
