Hello

I am planning my Receiver to buy these:

Now I have an Asus 22 inches screen with DVI connection. Is it possible the HDMI signal with a conversion to DVI and then to enter on the screen to enjoy HD?
I know it's not Full HD but it would interest me. The PC screen has 1680 x 1020th It remains then just a black border s.Screen?

Gruss

The video of HDMI and DVI is - in principle - compatible. A simple adapter is sufficient. The sound you have to but separate boxes to any lead.

Now comes the 'but': If the satellite receiver itself behaves correctly, the video is encrypted by HDCP. The monitor should support it. If it is not explicitly mentioned in the manual says, it's not.

If he is unable (and synonymous are the least PC monitors), höheraufgelöste signals on its screen resolution to scale, everything can happen: No Picture, zoom ...
If it scales, you probably would have narrow black bars and see above the bottom of the screen - the monitor is not in 16:9 format. If it is stupid, the monitor can not synonymous with 50 Hertz and he almost certainly has no converter to Fernsehhalbbilder implement in full. In other words, footballs and anything else with TV cameras and a Halbild ( "i" or interlaced) is sent, has torn contours. That looks pretty modest.
If this is for you the only possibility would be to use the receiver, I would steer clear of it - or make sure the receiver failing to return them.
