Hi, I have the LG Flatron L245WP, which is not in large parts of the HP is different. But he has a Premium MVA panel (similar to IPS and PVA) and an anti-reflection coating, more accurate colors and a higher viewing angle with the ground. It may be synonymous sRGB.
Unfortunately, he suffers the same problems: In order to avoid the overscan you have to change it every time and the order of 60Hz at 1920x1200 at 50Hz to comment you must make Resolutionauf 1920x1080 (I have written a program, so I just press a function key and I'm not tormented by the Panel must).
Overall I am very satisfied with the device and its excellent color reproduction.
He has cost me 560 ¬ in the new Internet trading.

PS: He synonymous has a component input that I can use very well.

Hello,
the article on the LCD monitors Schnitttauglichen was very helpful.
For the moment, I am synonymous in search of a suitable monitor.

Last week, I ordered the long Viewsonic 2835wm receive.
Unfortunately, he has the test my ideas about a cut square monitor not met.
Very poor contrast. Twitching picture every 5-8 seconds. The menu is very cumbersome to use. Only the port range is fine.

Based on the article and the commentary, I have the LG Flatron L246WH fetched.
The 24 inch size is definitely better for me the image of a square-cut monitor.
About the HDMI input delivers the LG monitor a really super-Picture.
That would be my desire now monitor!

But:
Unfortunately, the image quality of the input, Component (YUV) for my device very large.
The Picture has a terrible greenish tint to the HDMI input.
Also show is always noise in the form of lines of errors.

Is the LG Flatron L246WH only in HDMI mode to use?
Anyone who has other experiences?

A good test, Rudi. I think it is regrettable that the overscan can not be switched off - this is just a pity for the preview, though synonymous with the unit can control 50 Hz.

It is hard to go halfway on the field to find good solutions - personally, I am with my Sony40W2000 there are still satisfied if synonymous with the 40 inch does not cut in any space suits, and of course more expensive. But it actually allows you to switch off the Overscan, both for component as synonymous via HDMI - and the native pixel control in full-HD mode, both from Vegas via DVI-HDMI cable as a synonymous of NX no problem. One treat is indeed nothing else.

Hello,
I have finally found someone, the more about the LG L245WP
white.
I'm looking for a replacement for my 21 "tube and'm synonymous to the LG become aware. Moreover, I have the opportunity for a dealer in the city as a Demo with full warranty for 400 ¬ to get.
Since I mainly Office, CAD (2D only) and personal video editing to do but gössten built in part on the satellite TV card and DVD's do I make a search with 50 Hz support. None so far I could tell whether the L245 supports 50Hz. At the dealer I have in the menu of the monitor found nothing. Can I definitely set?
My question, is the difference between 50 and 60Hz really see?
Finally, a question if I RESTRICT at 50Hz, because I can simultaneously work in Windows and see the TV screen (or video) or does it only in fullscreen?

I know there are many questions, but I can still not decide on a monitor.
First thank you

Among the questions:
The L245WP natively supports 50Hz at 1920x1080 pixels resolution. One sees the difference between 50Hz and 60Hz. Sure, you can either watch TV programs and with work and all the stuff at the same time, when the screen hangs s.einem Calculator. Overscan is off.

I find the device for an LCD of the color superbly, and he is beautifully bright

Thank you for the test and report the answers. But I am still confused in details and therefore prefer to ask again:

>> LG Flatron L245WP, which is not in large parts of the HP is different. But he has a Premium MVA panel

What does this exactly please? Basically does a completely different monitor, only housing and menu may be the same. Please do not misunderstand, this is not Gemeckere - I just want to know what the statement "very similar to HP LG" in this case means.

>> The L245WP natively supports 50Hz at 1920x1080 pixels resolution. Overscan is off.

So he can, what rudi tested at HP has s.deutlichsten missing? (synonymous when it is inconvenient to switch required)

And finally, are somehow already consequence models for the LG or HP announced? The L245WP is already available since the fall of 2006, the w2408h however only since the fall of 2007.

Thanks and best regards!

Yes, I somehow wrong words. Actually, it's total crap. The MVA panel brings an enormous color fidelity, the HP does not have. Similarly, only the form factor of the devices. Sorry.

Yes, this really can. 50Hz progressive natively and at full high-definition resolution. And the overscan can be relatively quick off: Menu-> Screen-> ARC> 1:1. So, press 4 times and he does remember the settings then synonymous, so long as the resolution does not change.

Thank you for the answers!

Happy to "think" I'm going, I'm already synonymous almost convinced. Only that the monitor is so old ... No new version announced?

And whether other known or rudi Cracks wolfgang like to have an opinion, I would still be interested.

Oh yes, @ Chris, HDCP is synonymous easily supported, right?

Once again, thank you!

Clear.

I do not think that in this segment (24 "Premium Panel) so quickly of new LG will come. The sales figures are not as staggeringly high for a completely new development would be worthwhile.

I had the HP w2408h and wanted him as a preview monitor, together with my iMac 24 "use. Calibrates I have him with Spyder 3 Pro.

Comparison with the proper monitor of my iMac, he was in the factory setting farbverfälscht disappointing and totally into the blue, green.

Even after the calibration at 2.2 gamma and 6500 Kelvin, much too bright colors (especially red), light gray schillerten slightly in different pastel colors (visible only in Graukeil), the contrast was too high.

The display with 1080i at 50 Hz in Final Cut 6 fine, but when camera movements are shifted slightly against each picture lots and land when the Picture waberten or partially pulsated slightly.

The viewing angle was not to use: small head movements in the vertical down darkened, top illuminated the picture very much.

I sent him back to me and, fortunately, after I had found this thread, the LG L245WG ordered, only slightly more expensive.

He is in all score better:

Good behavior insight, already in the factory settings acceptable, less (not slack!) Contrast, so that synonymous as the leaves of a tree in the shade durchgezeichnet are better, colors are not oversubscribed, no artifacts in 1080i 50 Hz (here synonymous with 1:1 no truncated edges) only minimal light gray in color, approximately 94%.
And he still has a component input.

In addition, he is simply beautiful in design and sound processing, as opposed to claims designed, badly set up easy and cheap-looking little HP.

Good that I have two monitors could look after themselves. In a direct comparison between them and with my 24 "iMac was for me a clear case in favor of the LG and I'm very happy with him.

Maybe this helps one or the other in a forthcoming decision.

Thank you, @ Mano, which really helps!

Now I need only ask a reference / comparison to the brand new Samsung Syncmaster 2493:
http://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/927029_-syncmaster-2493hm-samsung.html

I think the Samsungs are more likely to play monitors. Can someone possibly older Synmaster 245B with respect to the HD preview relavanten and here in the topic above points assessed?

Otherwise it's the "old" (Nov. 2006) LG - again thank you!

Yes. Uli is synonymous but the preacher color, unattainable for me, Eizos u. Quado's (the apostrophe as a gift for you to start ;-)

What is important to me: you can rely on tests, if synonymous with objective measurements that are not always leave. As the positive test of the HP, the result "very good", came in Prad.de, is completely unclear to me (exclusion criterion would have been the miserable behavior insight). I had to leave and accordingly was disappointed.

Ideally, one could directly monitors side by side. I almost succeeded ...

Incidentally, the current price range of the LG L245WP: 517.99 - 938.50 ¬, crazy!

The LG L245WP seems very good, but could be synonymous with the circumstances under Here? Game Star says it is restricted.
