Frage von darg:

Hi folks,

I had now a HV20, since I play with the idea to bring them to me. Have very good experience with the HV10 already done and think in terms of the HV20 and the picture quality is all been said. What has shocked me was the fact that the tape flap top opens. What I noticed is that the entire weight of the camera and thus synonymous all Beschleunigungskraefte effect due to the hand strap on the top edge of the door. The flap is only of a small hook that was on the slider is operated to the cassette slot to open. That is something I spillrig, as there are the experiences of HV20Besitzern? What is it with moisture, from rain, from the top of the Camera and so on Klappennaht falls? OK, the camera is not made for rain, but sometimes it can not prevent.

My HV20 had to endure quite a bit, whether violent or heavy rain of a storm gusts with the Tripod on steel blocks have fallen, with a few scratches housing has not yet suffered.

Of course I voted for storm and rain images a KATA Raincover for the HV20.
Granted, the plastic casing looks cheap from ...... But something keeps synonymous coarser treatment until the plastic cover for the flash shoe, it was already after 2 hours filming fallen ......

Hello!

I have since yesterday a HV20 camera and the only thing that worries me is also the case with hand strap. If you eg have a Raynox Front Wide Angle Camera dranschaubt wins so synonymous again markedly s.Gewicht, so I work one-armed (synonymous only briefly) occurs very critical.
One can even notice that the cassette door while wearing the wrist strap 1 to 2mm there because of the weight.

There are indeed some of the camera for a long time in use-will have the time, with possibly even worse, or you have previously heard of people where the cassette with the door then sometime rausgebrochen is?
Or do I worry unnecessarily?

Without going to the camera itself possess I can not imagine that because what happens. The Camera is a flyweight. It is synonymous not break, because when times perhaps a little heavier converter is tuned.
The cameras now hold slightly more. A little more than 10 years have witnessed a camcorder mostly scrap, if it gets from a Height of about 80cm on the ground has fallen. This is different. That is not s.der better quality housing, but because the new digital technology is not as susceptible to damage is the case. Even rain can Dinger meanwhile quite well.
My PD150 (onder Comparison for HV20 lags here, perhaps something) has numerous falls and beer showers (concert) abbgekommen. Highlight was a Stage Diver, which is exactly on the camera landed in the ditch stage. Result: Micro-holder from the anchor geflutscht (was without new parts to repair), Tripod broken (broken clip), Camera healing.
My XL H1 is synonymous sometimes from about 80 cm runter gefallen. However, the head light the first blow a share. It was just the daylight filter is aborted. Thanks Filzteppichboden then when she got the final somersault not even a scratch.

Oh, incidentally. One-hand shooting is prohibited! This is only with shoulder camcorder (if you want not just to be prepared).
