Infoseite // Hardware-friendly HD editing in SD

Frage von wolfi28041990:

Hello,
Is a way to cut-HD recordings - just recalled today is done in analog film - by cutting runtergerechnete versions of the same files and s.end pays the program together with the finished film and the HD-ready files is a full HD Film on nem-performing old laptop?
Sounds to me rather to practical, I guess there anyway - but I have zero experience in matters HD editing and not be so bad if the question sounds a bit naive ..

You mean the "proxy editing". Even if your old box with the video in lower quality should get along, would run out the calculator at least at work with the HD clips of breath!

Without fast, large hard drive and plenty of CPU power, the HD editing advised not really! It brings you nothing if they swallowed the PC at work and for a long time is not responding or is a blue screen.
In addition, you should always double secure his raw data (eg one or two more HDDs and / or DVDs), which drives up the costs in addition to the Height. The PC should be able to play HD video smoothly synonymous.

So you still need good playback software (PowerDVD s.besten) if you do not have Windows 7 and large still very much a good editing program with export opportunities. The HD-rat tail is unfortunately quite "thick and round! ;)
