Infoseite // Image Import

Frage von rave:

Who can tell me what settings I should make AVID 4.1 to ordinary graphics and images from Photoshop to import. Everything I've imported so far looks grußlich from AVID.

Antwort von Andreas Jigme:

The best way you prepare the images in Photoshop even for the import front.
Photoshop has the "New File" a template for Pal-DV (with guides for the safe area), otherwise: 720x576 points (sky I can not always choose ...), 71 dpi, sRGB.

Add your picture here, edit it, it really scalable and imported it as a graphic file into Avid, always looks good. You can save it as a psd or pict before you importierst.

If you are scaling down and Avid bill leaves the result is often not convincing, it is better the images themselves in Pal format. For HD resolutions, the course also reported synonymous only with other pixel dimensions ... is so clear.

Greeting and good luck ...

Andreas.

and one more thing: for images with transparency and the synonymous or excerpts appear transparent inverse Alpha, you must choose ...

It occurred to me one. It makes things a day without next drüber reflect and then when someone asks ...

Much success!

The indication of Resolutionhat no influence, since it only refers to the pressure (dots per inch - dots per 2.54 cm).

A television, however, the picture entirely on the available space dar. What counts is only the width (720) and the Height (576) of the image. ;-)
