Hello,
Simple question: has the Final Cut Studio 2 package actually Quicktime Pro or not? I think about different statements on the Internet.
In any case, I own Final Cut Studio and want to export a movie from FC as Mpeg2. But do not go. It does not appear in the export settings. For this I need quicktime pro or?

Yes, FCS2 includes QTP.

Take export via compressor, where you can choose whether you want as mpeg 1 / 2 can write as well as transport / element / program stream.
Simply click on the residual sequence / clip (; cmd + click) and then export "with compressor" ... because there are many presets for export have you a little reinfuchsen!

Rumors say that QTPro is free of charge involved in QT10, which appears with OS 10.6. Update 29 U.S. ® and is to come in September.
Maybe worth the wait, before you buy QTPro.
