This agrees well, but has anyone ever tried the sound through the AV output to a Headphones to get out? I have! And it works perfectly! The camera testers are not all the doubt, because otherwise they would think something next, and not simply write: "great disadvantage, not an output Headphones!" But proof of the pudding is just about studying!

Hi Paul,
the possibility of Headphones s.den AV output adapter, goes hand in hand with some disadvantages, which is a separate headphone jack without its permission.
1. You need one or more synonymous adapter cable to the AV port on the camcorder on a 3.5 mm jack to adapt.
2. You can see the volume is not so easy to influence as with a headphone jack. Often synonymous here needed a small amp or a headphone with a very low impedance, so the volume is sufficient for the interception.
3. Can not live signal to pass, as the audio connection with the already Headphones occupied.

So with my G61-SonyMDR it works perfectly! Ok, if I add the sound rausholen wants, it's not, unless you would with a soft try. I think a double plug. Adapt to 3.5 mm? AV output is a 3.5 mmKlinke Markus, why because the adapter? The volume on my Sony head phones is exactly as I need them.
Conclusion: I'm with my solution fully satisfied, which does not mean that I welcome that no camera has Headphones output.

Weill any additional output costs money! Prices for the camcorder are so deeply sunk that virtually no profit margin longer exists, the manufacturer must make savings wherever it can.

Precisely this is the problem ;-) The prospect of only a single client who is willing to pay more, JVC has probably prompted the Camera prefer without headphones output and cheaper to offer. But you've been right: A Camera with no headphone output (and microphone input, which today is synonymous like savings) would be for me also indiskutabel.

Then recommend me times a camcorder, the better and more expensive than the HV20, but not synonymous is about 1600 ¬.
