Now I have a firewire cable and worried as I was told of the menuBar jvc ilink of 1440 when switched on Dv. Thus I was able to capture the data easily into i movie, just a shame that it will reduce the qualitäa synonymous, I was told of HD to SD, which is of course very stupid ... Of why I wanted to ask if someone could help me, how can I do??
The filmdatein, should have a medium / short-film competition for a result, so I would like to have Proved their quality, but will not know just how I do it all? what program do you recommend? I was told repeatedly that imovie7 is better than 8? more functions ....
so excuse the many questions ...
thank you very much much more .... I'm crazy ... that is really slow goto days since, but somehow nothing is running ...

hello of me, I've recently bought the same cam in the book. for the price I think you get any opportunities fhd cam in this format and. the first. tod-files for many einechtes problem seem to be. We can complain to colleagues and to look after the proper cam next to her. to your problem which is actually none. I have the same eligibility as you-mbp (; 17 ") and the HD7.

So first time you make a download and fetch you, "VisualHub".
just enough time for exercise purposes, the demo version (and I have just synonymous, and will probably sign up!) with help of this small and simple prg you copied the. tod original files without (;!!!) convertierung a read / writable image. then starts imovie 8 and lo and behold you can continue working. I've tried it and it works

Ah yes, the demo version is limited to a length of all clips max 2 min. for longer clips so you should register / Buy it probably does not cost much ...

I would be delighted to hear of Deimer success with this good cam too!
much fun!
here I still hang time off a user manual, which has a resourceful kollege video created for us to keep you well and it comes s.diese!

What does it thus:

I use this program: VisualHub.
-> Www.techspansion.com / VisualHub

It may cost a small amount, but this is perfect.

Thus, so now we assume that time that iMovie '08 is installed, as well as VisualHub.

1.) with the disk utility, a new read / recordable image to create. Optimal is when the image of the size of the hard drive of your camcorder has. Of course, you can create synonymous DVD or dual layer DVD size, if you archive the raw material on DVD will. I do this for reasons of space to an external hard drive.

2.) In this image then create the following directories:
MP_ROOT
In MP_ROOT now create a directory with names 101PNV01.

Done.
Why? Thus iMovie '08 then think you have connected a camcorder and everything is automatic.

3.) start VisualHub and select the top of the bar MPEG.
Under VisualHub then on "Save in:" the directory of the disk 101PNV01 select Images.
Now the button "Advanced" and click on Video on "Extra ffmpeg Flags" from the list "Copy original video track (; passthrough) to choose."
Under audio at "Extra ffmpeg Flags" from the list "Copy original audio track (; passthrough choose.

4.) connecting the camcorder, so that the drive is mounted on the Mac. Now. TOD files search and drag THE ONLY. TOD files into VisualHub.

PRESS START!

Ok, what happens now? Now is produced without a conversion, a new file with another coat and copies of original content. TOD files without quality loss in the 101PNV01 list of image file. This goes very quickly, because there is virtually nothing, and copied only converted.

OK, done!

Everything to close, eject and complete.

5.)
So, now with iMovie '08 so we want to cut the film capture and GZ-HD7.

- First, mount the image file
- Start iMovie '08

iMovie will now detect a connected camcorder, and displays all the images as thumbnails, as it should be.
Now you can check the pictures easily and quickly into iMovie '08 and then edit reins eyes just fine and fast

incidentally, what you cut? I suit the pro and Final Cut Pro complette adobe production.

Final Cut Pro is synonymous, of course, with all clips must be rendered, of course.
is not that great but what solls video just takes time.

at the moment I am testing the possibilities with premiere, when I know what I post here ...
