Hi,

Well, the DVX 100 is so synonymous not cheap.
Yes 521 P and 522 P comes with Manfrotto for the DVX.
The 521 can only REC / STOP button and zoom.

Manfrotto are compatible but only as a camcorder as DVC30, DVX100 or HVX200 to. How it looks with the GS500, I do not know.
