Hello,
I am layman in this area, because I just start with the cut, but I hope someone is able to help me.
in search of my problem, I never found anything. this problem is likely to have occurred even before anyone ..
I have one of ex-1 sony, of which I previously always synonymous easily clips using XDCAM Transfer importing could (of sxs stick).
my current problem is that (who is with the folder structure of the "raw material" to the sticks sxs know is right here ^ ^) I just the *. mp4 file from that folder to the sticks have.
Say: I lack both the *. SNI, *. PPN, and the *. xml *. BIM file.
mp4 file which can not logically draw purely fpc ..
My question now is whether you save the data somehow, that the video into a format readable for fpc can bring?
I am grateful for any help ear!

My solution:
have now found the following possibility (certainly not the best, but seems to work):
I convert the clips of the cam with visualhub (uses ffmpeg) to *. mp4 and then I convert it with quicktime Mpeg Streamclip to-files (Apple Intermediate Codec). unfortunately can streamclip mpeg files of the cam may not be directly read.
