Hello Forum,
I burst times in here and have the same time a question. A few days ago I bought for 110 ¬ discount at a local electrical store a Panasonic SDR-S15. This camera takes on even in the MPEG2 format.
The sharpness of the colors and I'm satisfied, but I noticed that some parts of the image shake "shake /" and shift to other low, quietly standing up parts of the image and her '". I have set the recording quality at the highest level (XP).
Is this trembling of some parts of the picture in MPEG2 normal? Is the camera defective? At my old miniDV device, there was not this trembling / shaking. If this is true of all cameras with MPEG2, which is synonymous with HD cameras so? HD cameras take but on mostly with AVCHD.

First of all, welcome to the forum.
Although I can not tell you what the "wobbly" is located in the Picture can assure you, however, to MPEG2, it is not.
The codec has been running for more than 15 years throughout the world to everyone's satisfaction, if it is synonymous s.der make time to space for more codecs.
Maybe it's s.Verwacklungsschutz that the camera has and who may not operate properly?
You should post me an example to evaluate the effect better.

Looking at the video that is, any structure is blurred. The very last picture, however, has drawing when Filmkornähnlich synonymous. It could therefore be synonymous to a noise reduction of the Picture act before the compression ironed smooth. So you might want to distract the bad quality of the camera (especially the Signal Processing).
Give the camera rather back. It is crap.

I will return the device. Well, what now? Neither my television, even the laptop are good for HD, a new purchase is not planned because the devices are properly and the laptop is only a year old.
During my Internet search I noticed the SonyDCR SX73. This seems to be a very good SD camcorder. The thing costs three times as much as synonymous to S15, as much as I wanted to spend not really: - /
